“Going For Green” Pledge
“I pledge to the community to make “Going For Green” part of my way of doing business in Darien. As I make decisions for my business, I will consider green options to help make Darien and the Earth, a safe and hospitable home for present and future generations”
This favorite DCC annual event is a community wide effort bringing our DHS graphics class students together with our Chamber members to promote making green choices in everyday life. We recognize our Chamber members who have made significant “green” improvements in their business. Application will be available this spring.

Today’s marketplace is highly competitive and changing daily. This Forum is meant to be an exchange of ideas, information and successful business practices to help each other “drive more business”. Moderated by Mark Rosenbloom, Chairman of the DCC Board of Directors , AVP at First County Bank, we have innovative panelists who can share their experiences with the audience. Bring your questions for the Panel to answer…this event is a Q & A format. There will be a short period afterwards for networking and speaking with the Panelists.
Panelists this year: Doug Campbell, Principal, The Success Coach, and Business Author; Peter Belbita, Owner, Noble House Creative Marketing Group; Cindy Palmer Dean, Owner, Creative Director, Palmer’s Darien and an expert from SCORE will be joining us.
Come hear Kris Barker and his experts on the latest in Native Plants and the new Container Gardening shop at The Gardener’s Center. Kris and his staff will show off the latest and include lots of tips during this morning breakfast event. Have fun networking and sharing your love of plants and gardening with other members while learning about this wonderful resource right here in Darien. The Gardener’s Center is a long time member of the Chamber and has undergone a stuffing transformation. Come see what it is all about. Coffee and pastries/fruit will be provided! $15 advance registration for members or non-menbers. $20 at the door.
