Girl Talk: What Every Girl Needs To Know About Puberty
May 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
Girls approaching puberty and their caregivers are invited to join Diane Frankel-Gramelis from the Yale School of Public Health for a straightforward and engaging discussion about the physical and emotional changes to expect during puberty. This is not a sex talk, but a starting point for conversations about a girl’s changing body, including topics like body odor, breast development, discharge, basic anatomy, and periods. This program is designed for caregivers to attend with girls who are beginning to show signs of puberty (approximately ages 10–12).
