Money Systems for Moms in the Early Years
March 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Free
Presented by YWCA Economic Empowerment, this workshop is designed for moms raising babies through elementary school who are navigating the busy and often expensive early parenting years. We will cover real life financial decisions including childcare costs, activities and camp expenses, building emergency savings, insurance and benefits basics, flexible ways to save for the future, and simple systems to stay organized without overwhelm. This is not a retirement or traditional college planning workshop. We will briefly touch on 529 basics, but the focus is on helping moms feel confident managing money during the high spend years of parenting. If childcare poses a barrier to attending, please reach out to ecoempower@ywcadn.org
