The Summer Social with Gold Coast Mahjong and Beth Ladd Collections

The Summer Social is a curated night of mahjong, lawn games, shopping, drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres and golden hour moments with friends, all in support of the Braun Lab at Yale, advancing research and new treatments for kidney cancer.

Spend the evening exactly how you’d like:

Play a few relaxed rounds of American mahjong with friends at tables set by Gold Coast Mahjong Club (open play for those familiar with the game, with instructors nearby for light guidance), or enjoy lawn games and cocktails outside as the sun sets. Whether you come to play, mingle, or simply take it all in, the night is designed to feel effortless and fun.

A highlight of the evening is an exclusive shopping experience with Beth Ladd Collections. Design your perfect summer tote- starting with an authentic L.L.Bean bag, then customizing it with your choice of lining, charms, and live, on-site embroidery. Each piece is both personal and purposeful, with a portion of proceeds supporting kidney cancer research.

Your ticket includes wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages plus our signature Aperol spritz drink for the evening, and a selection of elevated hors d’oeuvres, along with access to all experiences throughout the evening. Custom tote bags are not included with your ticket but are available for purchase at the event.
