The mission of Revere Home Inspection is to help our clients build an informed home purchase decision based on a professional and thorough evaluation of the home, as well as to provide client education on how to maintain the home. As owner and primary inspector, Chris provides continual client support for as long as the client owns the home. Chris holds a current CT Home Inspection license (including radon and water testing) is fully insured, and is available to inspect residential homes throughout CT.
Home inspections have become a necessary pre-purchase consideration for all buyers. This is a critical time to truly evaluate a home and come away with a thorough assessment of the home prior to making your purchase commitment. So what is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a thorough, visual evaluation of the current condition of a home at the time of the inspection. Our primary goal is to find any significant deficiencies of the home, but we also uncover the smaller, routine maintenance items which we always point out and describe. Our inspection is more than the "what is wrong" with the home approach. We also like to educate our clients on the particular aspects of the home, and how to maintain the home throughout the seasons and years. Our inspection follows the criteria defined by the CT Home Inspection Standards of Practice, and we do go further than the standards in certain areas (such as thermal imaging the entire home and establishing the age of the mechanical systems).
