Ox Ridge Riding & Racquet Club
Ox Ridge Riding & Racquet Club is looking for an organized person who is able to assist with Management of the Bar. Flexible hours. Analytical skills required. Previous experience working in a Bar or Restaurant is helpful although Bartending is not necessary.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Bar Manager at Ox Ridge:
Operations Management
- Oversee bar operations, including Inventory & Cost Control
- Track inventory and manage ordering of liquor, mixers, and supplies.
- Monitor usage to prevent theft, over-pouring, or waste.
- Analyze sales data and manage beverage cost percentages within budget.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain and update beverage menus, including member preferences.
- Manage bar setup for special events, tournaments, or member functions.
- Order and reorder products based on analytics and member tastes and consumption
Financial Oversight
- Assist in budgeting for bar operations and forecasting beverage sales.
- Prepare financial reports, reconcile cash/credit transactions, and control expenses.
- Coordinate with accounting on invoicing and vendor payments.
- Get familiar with, and use with regularity, the Point of Sale system.
- Make sure that pricing in the POS is up to date and that all products are listed
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all alcohol service complies with local and state regulations.
- Enforce club policies regarding underage drinking, intoxication, and member conduct.
Event & Promotion Planning
- Collaborate with the squash and riding teams to support club functions with bar service.
- Optional: Organize and promote tasting events, mixology nights, or themed bar specials or create seasonal promotions or signature drinks to enhance member experience.

- Organized: good with spreadsheets, analytical analysis and data entry.
- High attention to detail, cleanliness, and service quality.
