Intern, babysitter, desk job

I am writing to express my interest in any available part-time positions or internships with the Town of Darien during the fall semester. I am currently pursuing a degree in Economics at Fordham University, and I will be home for the semester before returning to campus at the end of January for spring semester. I’m eager to gain hands-on experience in public service or local government while contributing to my hometown community.

I recently completed my first year of college, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills that I believe can be valuable in a municipal setting. I am particularly interested in how local governments operate and how economic principles are applied to policy, budgeting, and community development.

I am a reliable, quick learner with a strong work ethic, and I am open to contributing in any way that supports the town’s departments, whether in administrative roles, research, communications, or community programs.
