Sip & Print Workshop

Gel Printing Plates let you enjoy printmaking – but without the fuss and expense of a press! Working with acrylic paint, we will experiment with multiple layers of color, texture, and transfers in muliple layers using the gel plate. We will create botanical and floral impressions using various leaves, petals and stems as well as geometric stencils. Students will also learn how to lift and transfer a printed magazine image. This is an easy and fun experimental process that everyone will enjoy, and your completed images can be used for collages, or framed as single pieces! Complementary wine will be provided.
